My Way

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

Under my blouse I wear a pocketed camisole made of cotton or silk for hot climes, or of polyester for cooler places. The first one I made was fro, an old cotton dress with Philippine embroidery I did not want to throw away. The second was polyester with open- mesh work on the sides for air circulation. The third is black silk teddy, remodeled. I usually take two on a long journey.

In the front pockets I keep traveler’s check, cash, passport and credit cards. In back pockets I place airplane tickets and extra cash. This is a fairly thick pocketful, which fits easily in the small of my back. In my travel vest or outside carryall, I keep only the amount of money I expect to spend that day. If I need any of the items in my safety camisole, they are easily available under a loose blouse or shirt.

Begin In a Travel Notebook

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

First look around home to see if you have a spiral bound sewn notebook that fits into your purse and is large enough to hold more than a few notes. A secretary’s dictation book a small composition notebook works fine, or you may want to buy a blank book with an attractive color. You will now write anything and everything about traveling in this notebook- nothing else.

Carry your travel notebook with you at all times. You never know when an important piece of information will come your way. The travel tidbit may come from someone at work or on TV, or you may read it in a newspaper or magazine. If you do not write the information down in your travel notebook, you may lost it forever.

It may be the best way to really feel the power and the glory of mother nature.  Sleeping under the stars will awaken in you the mystery of the universe and your connection to it. Experience the day as it is born in the east, as it grows to fullness and then slips away, leaving the night to thrill you with its own delights.

It will discuss three camping methods. The first one is the car camping in your own car. The second is the car camping with a rented car, after you have flown across- country to your chosen destination and lastly camper camping in some form of van or pickup made for camping.

Mindset

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

The perceptions is affected by the mental disposition set by the person himself. Mindset as readiness colors the social emotional and intellectual components of the impression left in mind of the perceiver. It also involves a set of expectations about the other person, based on what he previously heard about him, previously experienced with him or what he wants to get out of him.

Example is saying  love is blind; lovers cannot see. What really is meant here is the lovers choose to overlook the faults observed in the beloved because they are so strongly physically and emotionally attracted to each other.
